Brake pad and disc replacement

New pads on tired calipers is a job half done. Seized pistons on one side wear the new pads out unevenly within a few hundred miles.

What we do

  • Discs measured for thickness and run-out against the minimum stamped on them
  • Calipers stripped, pistons cleaned and checked for free movement
  • Seals inspected, replaced where they are perished
  • Slider pins cleaned and regreased on sliding calipers
  • New pads fitted and bedded in on the road test
  • Fluid topped and level set

Compound choice

Tell us how you ride. Sintered pads bite hard from cold and eat discs; organics are gentler and fade sooner. There is no single right answer, only the right one for you.
