Clutch pack replacement

A clutch that slips in top gear under load is done. Riding on it past that point starts notching the basket, which turns a parts job into a much bigger one.

What the job covers

• New friction plates, steel plates and springs
• Basket inspected for notching and measured
• Inner hub and pressure plate checked for wear
• Plates soaked before assembly, stack height verified
• Fresh clutch cover gasket
• Free play and engagement point set, then road tested

Slipper clutches

Same job, more parts. The ramps and springs get inspected and the back-torque behaviour checked on the road test. If you want the slip characteristic changed for track use, say so when you book.
