Diagnostic scan and fault finding
A code tells you which circuit complained, not what is wrong. The work is in the difference between those two things.
What the session covers
- Full ECU scan — stored, pending and history codes
- Live data logged with the engine running and, where relevant, under load
- Sensor readings compared against expected values
- Wiring and connectors inspected on the circuit in question
- Battery and charging system output tested
What you get
A written diagnosis and a quote for the fix. If it turns out to be a five-minute job we do it there and then and charge you for the five minutes.
Intermittent faults
Be honest about when it happens — cold, hot, wet, over bumps, after fuelling. That detail saves an hour of chasing, and the hour is yours to pay for.
