Motorcycle tire change — one wheel

The straightforward job. Wheel off, old tire dismounted without marking the rim, new one on, balanced, torqued back to the manufacturer figure with a calibrated wrench.

Included every time

  • Rim inspected for cracks, dents and corrosion under the bead
  • New valve stem, or your existing TPMS sensor checked and re-sealed
  • Bead seated with proper tire lubricant, not soap
  • Dynamic balance with stick-on weights
  • Torqued to spec and re-checked
  • Old tire disposed of

While the wheel is out

On a rear we look at the chain and sprockets; on a front we look at the pads and discs through the caliper. If either is close to needing attention you get told, with no charge for looking and no pressure to book it.

Bringing your own tire

Fine, and the fitting price is the same. We will give you an honest opinion on whether the compound suits how you actually ride — a full race-compound tire on a bike that does 3,000 road miles a year is money badly spent.
