Pre-track day safety check
Failing scrutineering at 8am with your session at 9 is a bad morning. Have it checked in advance.
What we go through
- Every safety-critical fastener checked to torque and marked
- Brake pads, discs, hoses and fluid condition
- Tires — condition, pressures, date codes and suitability
- Wheel bearings, steering head and swingarm for play
- Chain slack, sprocket condition, chain guard
- Oil level, and no leaks anywhere
- Coolant checked — many circuits require water and inhibitor rather than glycol, and we can change it
- Lights taped or removed, mirrors off, as your circuit requires
- Lockwiring where the regulations call for it
You get a signed sheet
Hand it to scrutineering. It will not replace their inspection but it means nothing on it will be a surprise.
