Track day tire fitting and pressure setup
Track rubber is not road rubber with more grip. It wants different pressures, it wants heat in it, and it tells you things afterwards if you know how to read it.
What we do
- Track tires fitted and balanced, rotation direction confirmed
- Cold pressures set for your target hot pressure, based on the circuit and the forecast
- Written cold and hot targets to take with you
- Warmer settings advised if you are running them
- Old tires read for wear pattern, and what it says about your suspension setup
After the day
Bring them back and we will read them properly. Tearing, graining and blueing each mean something different, and they are the cheapest suspension diagnostic there is.
