Wheel balancing only
A vibration that comes in at a specific speed and goes away above it is almost always a balance problem. It is worth ruling out before anyone starts talking about suspension or wheel bearings.
What we do
- Each wheel spun and measured for static and dynamic imbalance
- Old weights removed, residue cleaned off
- Rebalanced with stick-on weights, positioned properly rather than clustered
- Rim checked for run-out and buckling, which balancing cannot fix
- Tire checked for flat-spotting and uneven wear
If the imbalance is coming from a buckled rim or a distorted carcass, we will tell you rather than hiding it under 60 grams of weight.
